Our Mission
Project ‘Recycling’ aims to increase sensitivity to climate change and environmental pollution, which are the primary problems of not only the environment we live in but also the whole world.
Description
Recycling Step by Step, If the Future is What You Walk” is a 2-year project covering the period of 1 January 2023 – 31 December 2024, carried out under the coordination of Turkey, together with Spain, Finland and Italy.
Objectives
- Raising individuals who consume consciously and cause minimal harm to nature while consuming.
- Increasing awareness of different cultural perspectives and improving the language skills of adults.
- Raising awareness by comparing environmental sensitivity in different cultures with environmental sensitivity in our own culture.
- Minimizing the waste rate.
- For the continuation of natural life, reducing the amount of garbage thrown into the environment and preserving ecological balance.
- Reducing food waste.
- Reducing the amount of plastic in natural habitats and creating awareness of using alternative products.
- Evaluation of existing wastes.
- Collecting waste papers and delivering them to the recycling center.
- Evaluating textile wastes and used clothes in our recycling courses and turning them into products that can be used actively in daily life.
