Recycling and Zero Waste Project Meeting in Amelia, Italy

The final LTTA meeting of our Erasmus project was held with our partners from Spain, Finland, and Italy in Amelia, Italy, between 3-7 June 2024. Various activities and events were conducted to support the sustainability and dissemination of our project titled “If the Future is What I Walk on, Recycling Step by Step“.

A meeting was held with our partners from Spain, Finland, and Italy in Amelia, Italy, between 3-7 June. This meeting was a significant step for our projects focused on recycling and zero waste. The events organized aimed to address global issues such as climate change and environmental pollution, providing opportunities for the exchange of information and sharing of cultural knowledge.

ERASMUS PROJECT SPAIN MOBILITY OUR LTTA ACTIVITIES

We held our first mobility session with partners from Spain, Italy, and Finland in Lleida, Spain, from 5-9 June 2023. This was part of the “Recycling Step by Step if it is the Future” project, coordinated by Sarayköy Public Education Center and funded by the Turkish National Agency .

OUR LTTA ACTIVITIES IN FINLAND
WITHIN THE SCOPE OF OUR ERASMUS PROJECT

We conducted our LTTA activity in Helsinki, Finland, from September 4-8, 2023, as part of our project “Recycling Step by Step If It’s the Future” . We held a bag-making workshop using old clothes, and each participant received a bag. We also visited RESQ, a former hospital converted into offices, for additional training. The training concluded with a certificate ceremony.

LTTA ACTIVITIES OF OUR ERASMUS PROJECT WERE HELD IN TURKEY

As part of the Erasmus Project on Recycling Step by Step, Sarayköy Hem conducted LTTA activities with partners from Finland, Spain, and Italy in Turkey from April 15-19, 2024. The project included introductory training and activities to promote dissemination and sustainability. A recycling library and exhibition were prepared, showcasing items such as bags and pecbörg made from old jeans, paintings on unused fabric, pine cone ornaments, and jar vases. Workshops also featured amulet making with seeds and glass piece ornaments at Sarayköy Public Education Center.

ERASMUS DAYS, #ERASMUSDAYS 2024 OUR EVENTS

Erasmus Days 2024 (#ErasmusDays) was observed in our institution, as well as in various countries around the world, from 14 to 19 October 2024.

Since 2018, Erasmus Days (#ErasmusDays) events have been organized annually in October with the participation of our country. These events aim to increase awareness of the Erasmus+ Program and highlight supported projects, encourage those who have not yet participated to benefit from the Erasmus+ Program, and assist project owner institutions in disseminating their initiatives. The events seek to make the beneficiary stories of Erasmus+ projects visible and share the project results and stories locally. It is essential to effectively implement the Erasmus+ Program, scheduled for the 2021-2027 period, and to enhance our country’s utilization of the Erasmus+ Program.

In this context, a photography exhibition was held at our institution on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 14.00, during the 14-19 October 2024 Erasmus Days events. The event was attended by our District National Education Director Bülent AKHAN, Branch Managers Naile DELİCE KARADEMİR and Mine FİLDAĞLI, Institution Manager Halil KAYA, teachers, trainees, and the residents of Sarayköy. The exhibition showcased the sustainability and dissemination of our project, which was approved by the national agency. We extend our gratitude to all contributors.
